This engaging presentation brings that extraordinary time to life through firsthand stories of daily existence in a divided city: crossing Checkpoint Charlie, traveling through the East German corridor, and witnessing history unfold. As a citizen of France, the UK and the USA, and fluent in English, French and German, he offers a rare and deeply personal insight into one of the 20th century’s most pivotal inflection points.
